The Weakest Link In The Plan

Reader comment on item: A White House Initiative to Defeat Radical Islam

Submitted by Martin Schaffel (United States), Feb 20, 2017 at 21:52

The outline concerning Radical Islam is very inclusive of those items needed to begin an effective campaign to eliminate Radical Islam. However, the best made plans still contain the weakest link in the chain which for America has been the will power of the American people for a sustained and prolonged war. The plan the author describes would be initially supported by most of the people but it's success would depend on how long it would take to carry it out. Knowing the media and Trump's opponents would resist and try to change public opinion, any decision must include planning for a swift and permanent defeat of the enemy.
