Misplaced Patriotic Fervor is Always Defeated

in response to reader comment: Patriotism is not Godliness

Discussing yet another scenario of sequencing events leading to the supposed transformation of a world gone wild is, for some, almost considered passé. Apocalyptic narratives are now so common place that even a yet to released work called 'The Second Coming of Christ' attempts to rewrite the true Biblical event, which is on its own event horizon that has yet to be revealed as well.
Narratives that place America in some form of political posture in the end times scenario are still not really Biblically supported, no matter how one tries to interpret an American involvement. There are 'suggestions' that allude to the possibility, but nothing rises to full Biblical support of that notion.
Instead, we see the apostasy your observation calls out, that of the falling out of Christian and Jewish followers in the American religious paradigm; but this being actually Biblical in its implications of the condition of the true Church, right before the Holy Spirit pulls up stakes in the response to Yeshua's call for the faithful.
Only in belief of those who call Him Savior will there be an understanding of why all things will be revealed in His timing, and not the merely speculative postulations of the past. Yet, as you have observed, the Gog from Magog event is now being unveiled and the partners named in ancient Scripture terms are being prepped for the Zephaniah scenario that brings all nations to the judgment seat of the Eternal Sovereign.
Then Godliness and the righteousness of the Savior will rule the Day of the LORD, not patriotism.
