money will not destroy Iran's nuclear facilities

Reader comment on item: End U.S. Aid to Israel

Submitted by myth (Germany), Aug 16, 2016 at 20:40

The US Airforce has the size to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities by tomorrow morning. Yet Israel alone understands the necessity to act, it seems to me regardless, or maybe because of Israel's much smaller capabilities. Perhaps this is an odd argument how money and numbers matter less, and may even have a counterproductive effect. Why should Israel buy all those new fighter jets when the US has far more of them and still won't attack Iran's nuclear sites?

Perhaps Obama could pass his commander-in-chief hat to some IDF guy while he goes golfing next time.
