An Opportune Proxy War

Reader comment on item: Two Weaknesses Could Undo the Islamist Movement

Submitted by Barry Black (United States), Jan 4, 2016 at 11:21

It is quite obvious that the Islamist conflict in the Arab/Persian world is nothing more than a proxy-like war between Sunni and Shia Islam. When one delves into the cause of the Sunni-Shia rift you realize, rather quickly, what utter nonsense it all is! Then you begin to think maybe Islam is too----unfortunately however, it is deadly nonsense and to think that people are being slaughtered over such nonsense!!!----What a World!
