Snopes may be left leaning as you say, but the reason is clear: The great majority of fictitious, lying, exaggerated disinformation comes from the right.

I disagree. Howlers from the right are more obvious while those from the left are more subtle. Contrast the bumptiousness of a Trump with the erudition of the far-left professors.
