Reader comment on item: A Tiny Silver Lining in the Otherwise Bad Iran Deal

Submitted by Lionel gaffen (Israel), Sep 10, 2015 at 13:54

That tiny silver lining may never come to pass, since the two main support groups of the Mad Mullahs control a substantial percentage of the economy.
The MMs and the Revolutionary Guards control close to 40 % of the entire economy, if not more, and the thugs who are not in uniform receive special benefits from the government as well.

The monies to be received for this horrible deal by Iran, will be used to further line their own pockets, foment terrorism in the Middle East and will provide funding to expand their terrorist operations in South America, leading up to America's doorstep.

There will not be nearly enough momentum for the ordinary man in the street in Iran to try to overthrow the regime. Everybody saw what happened the last time the people tried to revolt against the fixed elections in 2008.
