Remembering MalcolmX the Hate Monger

Reader comment on item: Remembering Malcolm X Fifty Years Later

Submitted by Carol Marlin (United States), Feb 24, 2015 at 10:10

I heard Malcolm X's vitriolic anti-Semitism in person.

Scene: Boston's Jordan Hall in October 1963, where, as part of an overflow audience I was seated on stage, no more than 10 feet from his back. His speech, delivered by a master of oratory, blamed the Jews for all the Negroes' and the world's troubles.
