If I am doing the math right, the reported and suspicious 10% rise in the Persian population is too low a number. In actuality, it is 10/51x100 = 19.6%. Almost doubly as inaccurate is the reporting by the US government if you are correct.

I meant that it went up by 10 percent from 51 percent to 61 percent. You are right, though, that this is a roughly 20 percent increase.
