Wagdi Ghoneim is now a guest of Turkey and Erdogan and I would tell the Turks: Enjoy him

Dr. Pipes

I want to bring to your attention that Turkey is now the home of very sordid characters the likes of Wagdi Ghoneim who is a jihadist and a so called sheikh. Wagdi Ghoneim was a Sheikh of some Islamic outfit called the Islamic Institute of Orange County in an Orange County, Ca. And he was forced to leave the US in 2005 and the reason given was: Visa violation but it is very clear that the police and the FBI in Orange County were keeping an eye on him and here is a sanatized version of his wikipedia page in English

And here is his Arabic language wikipedia page where the readers can get to know this evil character in an unsanitized version

He is a dangerous demagogue and following the June 30 2013 uprising he was told by the Egyptian authorities that he either can leave Egypt or he will be arrested. He is not allowed to travel to the US or England or France or Australia or even Saudi Arabia (I stand corrected here)

He went to Qatar and following the recent atrocities by Da'ish he was told by the Qataris that he must leave and the only place that would take him was Turkey. He was not even allowed to change flights in Beirut

But again he is back to his old games and this time he is after Rachid Ghannouchi and what he calls el-3elmaneyeen el-wiskheen in Tunisa or the dirty secularists and for readers watch this video and most of it is in Egyptian Arabic but for those readers that know Arabic you will get to know this sordid man and yes it does have English subtitles

I can tell the Turks keep an eye on these characters and more of his likes will move to Turkey as long as Erdogan is in office
