All Prophecies Have Their Own Timimg - All are Useful for the Approaching Kingdom

It has been quite some time since this reader pondered the very questions you have portrayed here; and for a while, there was a difficulty in getting it to the next step of understanding. For me, it took years of reading and rereading until a discernment of prophetical complexities finally broke through.

It roughly goes like this: if one cannot immediately see the application, then the timing is yet to be revealed. Of such were the Isaiah 61 chapter references, of which Yeshua provided His assertion of fulfillment in Luke 4. The second part has its fulfillment in the future of the observed kingdom

Now, before going further, I am not one of those evangelicals that are hoping for any continuation of the pressure Israel is going through; but the Scripture about such things is plain, even in the words of Yeshua.

Luke 13:34, 35) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'"

For we read further the contemplations of Israel's future with HaMashiach:

Zechariah 12:4-10) "Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it. On that day, declares the LORD, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the LORD of hosts, their God.' "On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem. "And the LORD will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah. On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them. And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

Yet before these things, we read:

Hosea 6:1-2,5) "Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn us, that he may heal us;
he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goes forth as the light.

As for the kingdom of God not coming with observation, in the first advent (Isaiah 52-53), this was fulfilled by the internal kingdom, not appearing as the conquering entity the Pharisees wanted (for they hated Rome), but by the Spirit to heal the broken in spirit: John18:36) Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

For the second advent, we read: Isaiah 16:5) then a throne will be established in steadfast love,
and on it will sit in faithfulness in the tent of David one who judges and seeks justice
and is swift to do righteousness."
This is the approaching observed kingdom.

Like George Pepard used to quip: "I love it when a plan comes together……"
