Dejected over the state of affairs of the world, Mr Pipes? Really? Given that your recommended strategies for the U.S. are mostly motivated by a desire to see the U.S. "win", and include such cynical positions as support for whichever side is losing the war in Syria, then with all due respect, it's hard to see how you are now upset over the "dreary" news from the Middle East.
