Reader comment on item: Erdoğan's Decade as Prime Minister of Turkey

Submitted by john w. mcginley (United States), Mar 14, 2013 at 17:04

Who knows? The population had a good run with an efficient (albeit the military was the key in their situation) and mostly secular government. I suspect that Endrogan's romance with Islamist ideology will engender opposition. Turkey was sitting pretty good before Endogan "got religion."

The conference in Florida. I hope it goes well and I hope people will get educated on Israel. I have neither the time nor money (I know it's free; but one has to travel to get there) to attend.

PS. If you have seen that movie about the six Shin Bet heads (going back to 1967) ---- if so I think you should post a column on it. It does raise many questions. ((If you already did --- well, then I'm just too lax.))

I have not seen The Gatekeepers. It falls into the "life is too short" category of activities.
