Prashant,

Yes of course you are right, but in the context of the ME, which is the topic under discussion. I also did not mention the continent of Africa, where so many of the countries are falling to Islamism and strife. It is too ironic isn't it, that I wanted to use the word 'Fitna' (chaos, strife) to describe what these Muslim barbaric hordes are inflicting on the poor peoples of Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Cote D'ivoire, Yemen, Ethiopia, etc. etc. Fitna does indeed describe the conditions well, but I don't think that Muslims will approve of its use in that context.

I think that if a study was made of countries who have been trending towards high Muslim populations, there would be a close correlation between cultural clashes, wars and upheaval. If only they could leave well enough alone and just let others exist in peace. But they are compelled to wreak havoc, destroy historical relics and obliterate any existence that does not glorify and praise the one and only Islam. Severe insecurity complex at best.
