I question the analysis in that Russia and China vote vs Israel 100% of the time at the UN

Thus, I am skeptical as to how much of an alliance, if any, there could be. And thus "how far Jerusalem goes to balance its diminished standing in the Obama administration" also would seem to be a moot question to me. Like all those who 'think' it is in Israel's power to reach peace with the pa/hamas.
