in response to reader comment: "Gangster state and perpetrator of multiple genocides" -- hilarious statement of the week.

Dear, Wallace Edward Brand !

You commented on my words :

"As to Israelis they should at last learn their long overdue lesson. Supporting the notorious gangster state and the perpetrator of multiple genocides is always an immoral and self-defeating policy irrespective of how many short-term advantages it promises to bring."

> What a lot of nonsense. In all its defensive wars, the Israelis killed about 60,000 Arabs and Muslims -- almost all enemy combatants. But in the same time period, Arabs and Muslims killed millions of Arabs and Muslims.

I am afraid there is a misunderstanding here. By "the notorious gangster state and the perpetrator of multiple genocides" I meant not Israel, which I consider a highly civilized and admirable state, but Turkey and Turkey's notorious genocides , even though not recognized neither by the US nor -alas- by Israel. In short, what I am disgusted at is Israel's strange, counterproductive and in the long run self-defeating alliance with Turkey. Do you find anything wrong about it?
