Of course they share common interests

The USA and Israel, as do all western democratic civilized and progressive countries, share the common goals and interests of:

-peace and stability in the middle east

-resolution of Palestinian conflict

-robust defense of civil rights and protection of citizens (i.e. reduce tribal law and honor murders)

-progression of western and American interests

-thriving economies and robust global growth

-reduce reliance of ME oil and increase alternative fuels while protecting ME oil reserves to keep markets stable

-scientific and agricultural advancement to increase productivity and development

Are these not shared goals?
