in response to reader comment: Who are Christian Zionists and who is attacking them?

The Messiah Christ Jesus was born Jew - Prophet, Priest and King. Darby did not invent "Dispensationalism". The idea of the 'rapture" and 'end times' is in the Bible. Even if you don't agree and are a-millennial or post-millennial you still hold to end times doctrine which feature the remnant of the Jews being saved as is the pattern throughout the OT ironically and despite their continual unbelief. It is on that simple basis that we defend our brother Jews.

We support the Jews overwhelmingly because they will be restored. The Abrahamic Covenant cannot be broken by God. Further, every single person who declares Jesus Christ to be the true Passover lamb and as such their propitiation, funnily enough finds themselves, if pressed, becoming part of the united chorus of love and protection for the Jewish people. I don't understand it but that is the testimony of all that I know. We feel if the Jews are attacked then we and The Triune God are also being assaulted.

So we are not at first instant moved by the continual demonically inspired and sinful human acts perpetrated against the Jewish people over history; we take that as continued confirmation that the Bible is indeed true when it talks about persecution and great sin. The armies of Gog and Magog are truly coming to Jerusalem as well as a number of other religions to take the Messiah's City of Peace. That means violence!! How can we turn away from prophesy. It is not about humanitarian well wishing it's about The LORD Almighty, Ancient of Days doing as He said He would, restore to himself this peculiar people. Just that there are now two groups.

We know and love the Jews because they were called out once as now are we Gentiles also called out to repent too. Paul went "...to the Jew first and then the Greek". It can't be any more simple - We are called to Christ. Christ has risen, risen indeed !! Christians (grafted branch) are just waiting for the branch (Jews) to realize what has already happened.

No sense taking theology - we just see what was done for the Jews - and are great full that we are also called to kneel before His righteous throne, a throne of grace.

That is a bit of why we support Jews.
