"RISE OF PEOPLE POWER AND THE CLASH OF CIVILISATIONS BETWEEN CIVILIAN DEMOCRACY AND MILITARY DESPOTISM: RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL RAMIFICATIONS"
PART I

INTRODUCTION
Tahrir revolution is just the beginning of a new domino effect of the people's rise above instituted injustice and despotic militarism: Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, etc.

THE PEOPLE'S ARMY OR THE PUPPET OF ARISTOCRACY?
The sanctity of military rule remains questionable.

THE CROMWELLIAN LESSON AND FRENCH REVOLUTION
The French revolution by civilian demanding radical change was achieved through militarism
when the sanctity of the military under autocratic partnership was questioned. This led to the capitulation of the Monarch in France and the Cromwellian episode.

LESSONS FROM U.S. CIVIL WAR
The Civil War in the US was a result of autocratic interference into civilian democracy.
In a war between civilian supreme democracy and monarchy aided by the military, the latter ultimately falls.

The US Constitution and its founding amendments are stark reminders to the military that they too, are not infallible. The dream of Martin Luther KIng remains elusive notwithstanding the achievement by Barrack Obama.

TREATMENT OF BLACK AND ETHNIC MUSLIMS
Blacks in the U.S continues to face the same collective discrimination and neglect. In a situation or state of emergency, whites are preferred over blacks. Treatment of muslim in the U.S before and after September 11 remains the same, if not worse off before September 11.
Post September 11 events shows a marked increase in stringent search and ethnic profiling by intelligence branches/units on black muslims in the U.S and elsewhere.

ISLAM AND DEMOCRACY
In ancient Arabia, militarism was subjected to civilian rule under the Prophet Muhammad who led with exemplary measures, and in his dying moments have proclaimed again and again
the interest of the 'Ummah' over militarism.

Present day militarism has never found favour with the public civilians. The authocratic and despotic rule in many regions and continents
are supported at all material times by militarism to the disadvantage of true democracy.

MILITARISM IN ASEAN/ASIA
In Asian region, militarism remains supreme. The case of Myanmar and the Aung Sang Yi's conundrum is a clear example and a thorn in ASEAN's cohesiveness.

ISLAM AND AFRICANISM
In the African continents, despotic rulers continued to relied on militarism base to pursue a policy of anti-civilian democracy.

TWISTED TEACHINGS OF ISLAM IN THE ARAB WORLD
In the Arab World, rule by destinies persist to the contrary of the teachings of the Hadith and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).
who in his lifetime strives hard to dismantle the wall of despotic rule and religious extremism.

ISLAM AND MODERN-DAY CRUSADES
In the later part of the Holy Crusade initiated from the 11th, 12th and 13th century campaigns, it was the muslim rulers who favoured the Jews and grant themn protection from
the blood-thirsty crusaders and the convoluted Holy War contrary to the teachings advocated by Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible.

ISLAM AND ISRAELISM
The Crusaders prime goal was to recapture Jerusalem and the Holy Land from Muslim rule. But it turned out to be a persecution of the Jews and
a totally anti-Christ 'Scorched-earth, Jews and muslims' Policy characteristics of war crime.
