Reader comment on item: Answering Khaled Abou El Fadl

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Dec 27, 2010 at 13:43

Would that the "moderate Muslims will challenge the Islamists in the realm of ideas, not by starting a religious war or engaging in violence." These words by Dr. Pipes are the foundation to what may be the only hope to stop Islamization of the West. It would behoove Khaled Abou El Fadl to read this article---and if he still mangles these words, then can we assume that there's a general conspiracy to misquote such scholars as Dr. Pipes and others? So often I have come across Muslims who believe that Daniel Pipes is anti-Islam, and always, they have to be corrected.
