Reader comment on item: Has America Learned from 9/11?

Submitted by Kim Segar (United States), Nov 2, 2004 at 11:12

I think many Christians or believers will not vote, because they see abortion -- whether it is way into the PG or at the beginning -- as wrong.

Parents are mad and have taken their kids out of school, because they hate the PC teaching about Islam and sex/ed on how to have safe sex, the UN teachings, the bullies, evolution and all of it. So they homeschool, which means one has to stay home and teach. They see our tax dollars going to the enemy, a nation building, the unclosed borders where all can come in and get healthcare and education , and they have lost theirs.

Tents are going up all over and the government has not released funds for HUD since March of 03. The people are angry because of all this. They all say he wants to run their lives, instead of serving them with their own idea..not his...

Most men who lost their good paying jobs are working low pay jobs. Teens cannot find work, because all the shifts are taken by Mexicans. Now their kids cannot help to buy school clothes, their first cars and INS. G-d thrown out...........lots of things that WE the PEOPLE have told him, yet he keeps doing it all his way.

Then we get down to things like Jonathan Pollard, who has been in the news for 18 yrs. He is a scapegoat, and as you know , his letter was read to all Israel. Thousands are keeping up on that and other issues that seem to go over the heads of the government here.

It's a lot of things, including the land thing you talk about. We are not stupid...but some just follow the ones who are mad, instead of looking into truth themselves. I went out and voted for George...but I can tell you....I hate the roadmap, and I am very angry about what is happening in Israel, ...

And wrong or right, that is how most people feel.
