Iran is Doing Nothing More than What is Already Written

Reader comment on item: Further Reactions to My "Bomb Iran" Argument

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Nov 8, 2010 at 18:57

An observation was recently made by this writer elsewhere in this forum regarding the implication of Iran engaging in her continued emergence of fulfilling the stated desire of becoming a world class nuclear power, coupled with a further stated intention of 'wiping Israel off the map.' It does not take a nuclear physicist to review the equations of the ability of Iran's political power structure, nuclear scientific elite and international collaborative of others in the scientific industrial community to reach the conclusion that Iran is hoping for: the ability to carry out threats currently being ignored by a world society trying to find out if the once implausible potential of a nuclear Iran can be trusted to refrain from its stated sinister intentions; or will indeed carry them out.

While it is improbable that any action of the current American Executive Administration can be expected to curtail the now inevitable conclusion of Iran's nuclear ambition, both the published and unpublished, there is the likelihood the United States will become involved in a full scale action of the likes no president of the United States, save Harry Truman, has had to deal with. Curtailing Iran's ambition was never an actual option-that required courage: for those who considered it from a position of truth knew full well that diplomacy would never work, a position, sadly, Israel tried to plead for, but was turned away for apparent indifference to Israel's plight.

As noted by Dr. Pipes, it will not be for economic reasons alone that an exchange of nuclear proportions will be had involving Iran, but such might be proffered as an explanation by some who would join Iran in an ill-advised attempt to dislodge Israel from her place of security. It is expected that as the enlargement of the horde that eventually mounts that very attempt to displace Israel gathers, we will have a better idea of why the Hebrew Holy Bible tells of the new use of the valley of Jezreel. One might speculate here that if a limited nuclear exchange occurs in the vein of Iran's desires, who else can be expected to be found amongst those ranks as they try. By the way, there is a list.

Now before someone tries to make this out to be a one sided affront to the sensibilities of an apocalyptic nature, understand that there is an out, for the individual contemplating the personal outcome, if not the national one. Seeking the face of Him who has written before hand of Israel's dilemma and how the world is brought into His judgment for their folly, the individual has means to approach the Savior of Israel while there is yet this little time to ask in prayer for forgiveness and have the Holy Spirit enter into the faithful heart in the Name of Jesus Christ. Beyond that, the world is in Jesus Christ's hands.

The scenario of a pre-emptive strike against Iran cannot be counted on to do anything but encourage a predisposition being counted upon by the enemies of Israel as a ploy to engage Israel for the last chance of a failing world to gain peace at Israel's expense. But we have read about this before, and as mentioned before, the deaf ears will be deafened beyond the voice of hope in that day they try to subvert the intentions of Israel's Eternal Sovereign. Is anybody listening?
