Religion is the problem. Islam is only one flavor of evil.

Faith is the essence of religion. All serious students of religion agree on this point. Faith is a belief in the absence of evidence. Man's only contact with existence (everything that exists) consists of the evidence of his five senses. That information is processed by reason, his only means of knowledge, the faculty which only humans have. Reason is the faculty that enables man to live as the heroic being that he properly is, that enables him to live as no other living organism can by changing the world about him to serve his purposes and acheive happiness. He creates medicine, science, industry, knowledge of the universe and enjoyment of life.

Faith denies all that is required for man to live as man and demands belif in absence of any sense perception processed data. Faith is anti-reason anti-mind anti-human life.

America is the land of reason whose government was founded on the moral principle of Individual Rights. The right to be free fom the inititation of force by other human beings, to think for one's self and act for one's self and be the beneficiary of those actions. All religious governments and religious organizations, and the individuals in them motivated by faith, demand unquestioning acceptance of the edicts of those "enlightened ones" who know the dictates of a mystical source, (of which their is no evidence) on penalty of punishment the ultimate of which is death at the hands of the true belivers in the "faith". The only way for men of faith to live is peace with other humans is to renounce the use of force initiated against other humans. That protection is afforded by a moral nation that does one thing only, protecting the individual rights of the humans under its jurisdiction.

The only rational way to deal with militant islamic nations and groups is force in retaliation. With islamic nations that means all out war that destroys their ability and most importantly their will to harm free men and free nations. All Out War is the proper response of America and Israel to the agression of Iran and the Palestinians.
