Reader comment on item: Middle East Studies – A Dangerous Profession

Submitted by Froike (United States), Jan 5, 2010 at 15:38

I had the privildege of being in one of Prof Antoun's Middle East Classes at SUNY Binghamton in 1974. He was one of my favorite professors. Though I never got to know him on a personal basis, my impression was that he was a "Ragal Teiib"/A Mentch. I read about the stabbing and was disgusted that there is human vermin in this world that would take such a fine soul away from us. Rest in Peace Professor and my condolences to your family, students, and colleagues.
