Reader comment on item: A Christian Caught in Mecca; What Fate Awaits Him?
in response to reader comment: it is logic at first time to disagree, but let's taken an example

What qualities define either Makkah or Madinah as being "holy" ? In my mind the attribute of holiness encompasses being without stain, spotless, pure to the highest degree. If you insist that these cities achieve that quality because only muslims inhabit them then I disagree with your conclusion. All men fall short of God's unmatchable Holiness. Do you not know this?

Perhaps you do not understand that the free gift of God's own Holiness is available to all men through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All believers in Jesus Christ receive this gift. This gift is neither earned nor deserved. This gift to all men is the work of God not man.

God is pleased by his own good work and not by man's concept of what pleases him. Sincerity does not impress God.

Islam teaches that faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is false. This is the message from the prophet of Islam. This is a tenet of your own faith. This cantonment area you speak of defends against the message that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.

That the whole of Makkah and Madinah exclude the work of the Lord Jesus Christ is a sad testament against Islam in my opinion. And for those who share my opinion Muslims consider themselves justified to practice hate, to cause injuries, to encumber and enslave. This is your religion. I see no universal peace in it, I see no beauty in it, and I certainly see no holiness in it.
