Reader comment on item: Obama, "Respect" and Muslims

Submitted by Lynn (United States), Apr 5, 2009 at 09:29

It is saying two things that oppose each other. It is a way of talking that lets people hear what they want. Islam will never get the respect it wants until it covers the world. Islam does not want respect it want to be greater. Islam does not give respect, so it does not want respect, but only dominance.

Does this man speak to want the West wants from the Muslims? Does he speak to what the West has sufferied in the hands of Islam. Does he speak to our faith, our strength, our deserving of respect from the Muslim world. No he does not. Islam wants, Muslims want, Islam wants, Muslims want, want, want , want never satisfied.

He sounds like a dhimmi.
