The PC Gun

Reader comment on item: Europe's Threat to the West

Submitted by Dan Jantzen (United States), May 18, 2004 at 14:43

It is incomprehensible to me that we in the US act as though there is a PC gun to our collective heads! Our borders are left unmanned. Our courts will not allow profiling. Bureaucrats are more interested in business as usual. Our elected "representatives" can think only of getting reelected. So much of what we do suggests that either we are impotent or foolhardy. One cannot "make nice" in the face of such lethal threats. We need backbone and we needed it yesterday already!
