financial "blackmail" ???

Reader comment on item: Was the Gaza Reconstruction Conference a Fraud?

Submitted by Abu Nudnik (Canada), Mar 8, 2009 at 16:49

Let's make one thing clear. No one owes Hamas or anyone else money. No government has a right to pledge even one dime of any nation's citizens' money to anyone without consent. The idea that Hamas considers the taxpayer's money of all nations "owing" and "non-payment" "financial blackmail" ought to tell you everything you need to know about this narcissistic and childish group. To get money, you do something for the people who give it to you.

What, Hamas, will you do for us? Not bomb us? This is the meaning of terrorism. Not to serve but to threaten, like the violent men at Sodom, descending on Lot with the hysterical shriek that "Our will is the law you will submit to."

Not ready to rule a postage stamp.
