Decisive Conclusion to the ConflictReader comment on item: Explaining Israel's Strategic Mistakes Submitted by Mark alan (United States), Jan 28, 2009 at 13:45 Mr. Pipes, I really enjoyed the Q&A email you sent us today. It was broad and informative. The last comment, that only a decisive conclusion to the conflict will end the conflict rings true but is frightening. At this stage, and with the American & likely Israeli administrations, I believe the Decisive Conclusion will be Israel's collapse, politically/militarily, preceeded by catastrophic death in the region. It may even come at the hand's of the American's. Other than your Egypt-Jordan suggestion which might have merit, I have another idea: 1. Permit the conflcit to continue as it is. 2. Israel to place a choke-hold on Terrorists. 3. The world to assist Israel in taking out Iranian nuclear systems, through strong military action and possible invasion. I don't think the conflict can be resolved unless the Arab/Muslim world is trounced or Messiah come!
