Axis of Islamist antisemitism

Reader comment on item: [Turkey-Israel and] The Real "New Middle East"

Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Jan 20, 2009 at 01:37

looking at the map, and looking to an Obama future where Iraq joins Syria, Iran, and Turkey, what we see is a major axis of islamism and despotism. This huge conglomerate of fundamental islamists is a third of Europe in population, and has one major unifying interest: Kill the Jews.

With Obama beating a hasty retreat from politics of force to politics of appeasement Israel will be placed in deadly peril, and is likely to respond with deadly force. the New Middle East is indeed a far more perilous place than it was, and should appeasement set in as the only mode of dealing with the Islamist threat, Eurabia is next.
