Will the prisoners follow the same rules ?

Reader comment on item: When Osama bin Laden Becomes PC

Submitted by Bhagwat Shah (United Kingdom), Jan 26, 2004 at 17:06

Will the prisoners have to follow the same rules as their guards ?
Will they be banned from saying anything racist, sexist or demenaing to anyone, anywhere ? What model prisons will we have then !

Indeed, this is a pipedream.
Unfortunatly, the guards must follow rules, while the prisoners, criminals who care not for other people's rights or feelings, can do as they please. THey know that there is nothing the system will do to punish them further.

Political correctness has gone mad.

Recently, a respected BBC presenter or several decades, has been forced to resign from his post due to his views that the arab / muslim community disliked. Sadly, the world of PC has taken many heads.
