Politically Correctness

Reader comment on item: When Osama bin Laden Becomes PC

Submitted by Johanna Stephens (United States), Jan 25, 2004 at 20:29

It isn't just Britton, Political Correctness has raised it's ugly, censorious head all over the literate world as it castrates truth, history and fact. It is my honest opinion that PC is the stupidity of liberal thinkers and they play right into the hands of terrorists and others who would harm countries and people of all stripes. It has made cowards out of all politicians, while teachers and professors champion political correctness, dumbing all students etc. down to where people are afraid to succeed or gain wealth. Pretty soon, owning property will be called greedy if it isn't already.

The world will be left up to tyrants, dictators and the politically correct elite as pride in country, religion or race is pushed aside as no-no's. I take a great deal of comfort in being politically incorrect; not rude, but simply speak my mind. PC has created pitiful sensitivities in people; however the ruse cannot stop Dumb Blonde jokes and for that I am greatful.
