West readily accepted the 'Arabic' (actually Sanskrit) numerals?

Reader comment on item: Mecca Mean Time?
in response to reader comment: Zulu Time = GMT = Mecca Mean Time?

The Arabic numerals are NOTHING BUT the numerals written in Sanskrit, by ancient Hindus. Even to this day the Marati speaking regions in India, use the same Sanskrit numerals.

Arabs adopted this system in preference to the Roman numerals that were too complicated for them to enumerate and express.

So it won't be surprising that the Muslims will push this Mecca Mean Time down the throats of the West, when they happen to conquer the West with the sword at the Westerner's throat.
