Anti-semitism in Europe

Reader comment on item: [Muslims vs. Jews, the New] Locus of Euro-Hate

Submitted by Ed Millner (United States), Dec 11, 2003 at 15:25

Radical Muslim clerics have been preaching hatred and violence against Jews for generations. Euro-silence and failure to confront the problem simply gives a green light to the radicals to intensify their teaching of rabid hatred.

Europeans therefore should take notice when Americans reject their claim that the U.S. is the greatest threat to world peace. The preaching of hatred and violence as a responsible act and one that will please their god is not only sad but will very likely be the root cause of WW III.

History is being repeated and it's the late 30s all over again. Wake up Europe. The hatred won't go away on it's own. It must be confronted and challenged. Will that happen in Europe? Not likely. It didn't in the 30s and it won't happen now. It's much easier to blame U.S. foreign policy, isn't it?
