Robert Spencer's "source"

Reader comment on item: The Armanious Family Massacre

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Mar 27, 2008 at 17:30

Since Robert Spencer received "information" from a close friend of the father, Hossam Armanious, regarding Muslims who were close to the Armanious family and converted to Christianity, but in fact were practicing "taqiyya" and went on to commit the murders, it would be imparative that the "source" of this information identify who these Muslims were.

Were they identified? If they were, and were not questioned, that is a crime in itself.

If they were not identified, and this "source" had just heard from Hossam Armanious about some Muslim "friends" of his, how did this "source" know these Muslims went on to commit the murders? Was he an eye witness? Did someone else tell him? Did this "someone else" have info. on the murders, or the "taqiyya", not just knowledge of these Muslim "friends"?

What happened was absolutely horrible, a tragedy. I have upmost admiration for anyone who, like the Armanious family, comes to this country to practice religious freedom, escaping from Muslim countries.

No doubt there are Muslims here who would like to carry their sick religious beliefs over from their native country. But you cannot assume Muslims who make friends with Christians from Muslim countries, and even convert, are out to kill them; you need proof.
