Reader comment on item: An International Law to Respect Religion?

Submitted by G.Vishvas (India), Mar 22, 2008 at 22:29

respected Dr. Pipes

Secularism = I criticise my and your religion and you criticise your and my religion openly, publicly and safely and we understand no disrespect or blasphemy in this.

Pseudo-secularism = I dont' cricise your religion and you don't criticise mine and we define that alone as mutual respect.

As you can see, islam is not compatible with secularism but only with pseudo-secularism. Muslims in India have enforced pseudo-secularism in India and this has ruined the intellectual and spiritual climate in India. The blame for this situation is put solely on the hindus of course!

There is more evil and idiocy to be criticised, exposed and rejected in islam (=mental slavery) than in other religions and ideologies (none of which is free from evils and idiocies). Hence secularism works out very much to the greater disadvantage of the agents and quislings of islam. Hence they take refuge in pseudo-secularism.

How many muslims have (or are allowed to have) the intelligence and the honesty to see this?

Muslim liberals have neither the ability nor the possibility nor the will to protect humam beings (esp. non-muslims) against the "holy and pious" wrath of the islamo-fascists. To trust the muslim liberals would be a grave mistake.
