Response to Mr. Khesin : antisemitic muslim immigrants

Reader comment on item: Deadly Denial [of Muslim Anti-Semitism]

Submitted by A Danish guy (Denmark), Oct 31, 2003 at 10:16

Mr. Khesin argues ,that we, the Europeans understand the antisemitism from the muslim immigrants. This is, indeed, true.

Some people still spend far too much energy in commenting on the neo-nazism movement, but seem to forget that these groups constitutes only a small fraction of the overall population.

The situation among the muslim immigrants is completly different.

First of all: there are many more extreme muslims than extreme right wingers. Hibz-al-tahir mobilized more that 2000 people in a meeting calling for the end of Israel in Denmark 2001. in the case of the Neo-Nazist they only managed to get half that number at their meeting despite the fact that they got friends from Germany and Sweden to join them.

Secondly: unlike the Neo-nazists,who usually avoids confrontations, the Muslims act on the rhetoric. Jews have been attacked with stones and have been told to keep a low profile.

It is time for people to know where the real danger comes from.
