When The Levee Breaks Have No Place To Run

I don't think Mr. Page and Mr. Plant had this particular dam in mind but they may as well have. What an albatross Iraq has become to the American taxpayer! It looks like this white elephant will die a spectacular death at some point and take many innocent Iraqi lives with her. Things are going bad in Pakistan as well.

Should this dam fail it will be a double whammy for American interests in the region. Mr. Pipes is right: The Americans will receive all the blame for it. The moonbat leftists will howl with glee over the 'Great Satan"s failure in Mosul. This despite the Army Corps of Engineers best efforts. Building a second dam upstream must begin immediately while dismantling the 'Saddam Dam'. In the meantime let's hope the old girl holds while a solution is found.
