To Mr. Lincoln:

A real Christian ( a word used sparingly in the Scriptures) does not identify with any organised religion, but has this faith inside the heart. The word "Christian" has been used disparagingly throughout history and has bad connotations in this modern age. The Crusaders thought themselves to be true Christians but in reality were not.

There are many Jews who think that Christians were behind the Holocaust; a true Christian would never be part of such hideousness. There are many cases of non-Jews helping the Jews during the Holocaust. True, many people call themselves Christians and the term is used quite loosely, as opposed to Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc., but aren't true Christians. These people are self-righteous and enjoy pointing the finger at anyone who doesn't come up to measure by their yardstick, not by God's. True Christians are still being persecuted today, as is happening in parts of Africa and the Middle East, and the Jews are still leaving Russia in order to have better lives elsewhere. I don't have the statistics for these but I"m sure they are available somewhere.
