Rockets to Sderot; Israeli response

Reader comment on item: Cut Gaza's power?

Submitted by George (United States), Sep 6, 2007 at 13:18

Israel ought to offer a "peace for land" deal to Hamas. I.e.,

"Hamas, you folks have 60 days to clean up the Gaza. If thereafter peace breaks out, Moslems may stay on the land. And we can all live in peace. If, on the other hand, after the 60 days, another rocket sails into Israel from the Gaza; if another Hamas 'militant' invades Israel with a suicide belt; if another 'invasion' occurs, then Israel will decide that you don't want peace. We will then move back into Gaza, expel all Moslems from the Gaza, and annex the Gaza into Israel. Take your choice."

The PA ought to get the same deal with respect to Samaria and Judea.
