Create Separation Strip to put Rockets out of Range.

Reader comment on item: Cut Gaza's power?

Submitted by David Goshen (Israel), Sep 6, 2007 at 11:35

The only solution is to create a safety zone in to which no rocket lauchers can be brought.

This will automatically put Sderot & other settlements out of range.

There is really no justification in cutting water ,electricity etc & other utilities. The world does not like collective punnishment. One has to realise that the Hamas Government in Gaza has no control whatsoever over private Militias of Jihad & other groups .The freeing of Shalit is therefore very difficult to negotiate.

The main problem that these militias make a very good living from their hostile acts against Israel, which they are not keen to give up.They make very big money smuggling in explosives from Egypt

Sadly there is no livelihood from anything but terror.
