Anti- Israel Professors

Reader comment on item: Extremists on Campus

Submitted by Richard (United States), Jun 27, 2002 at 00:59

C'mon. They have a right to express their views. College students are supposed to be adults, who can make up their own minds. If you don't like their views, don't take the course. If you have to take the course and you disagree, express yourself in class. If he flunks you for expressing yourself, THEN it's time to complain to the administration.
And it's good to hear that the anti-Israel students feel free to express themselves through demonstrations and threats. Then we can confront them. That's what the First Amendment is all about. It's when they go underground and meet in secret that they become dangerous.
