Bethlehem Christians have reported being terrorized and there has been an exodus of Christians therefromReader comment on item: Bethlehem Christians Speak Out Submitted by David (United States), May 30, 2007 at 00:14 Arafat was not known to have been religiously committed, and his attendance may have been more for Suha than for any other reason. Aside from Israel, to my knowledge, the only major country in the ME with any substantial Christian population is Lebanon. Its religious stability now looks to be more of a joke as its Christian population has come under tremendous assault by radical Muslims, who see no place in Lebanon or the Middle East for non-Muslims. If you want the story on this, you would be well-advised to check out the U.S. State Department Country Report.
