in response to reader comment: a piece of advice for Abdullah arabi

didn't he attack others? didn't he forcibly spread his 'faith' on all the tribes of arabia? he slept with a child. he slept with his son's wife. he kept women of defeated armies families in his harem? wow! what a prophet! i mean for Christ's sake what hypothetical hallucinations are you trying to derive out of mohammad to claim islam as peaceful. what do u think were the faithful followers of mohammad doing with people of persia and byzantine? and laters to other occupied territories? do u think the entire civilization of persia was stupid. and then it discovered this elegant 'religion' and all of them converted to islam!

you think one fine day the whole of egypt woke one day and started speaking arabic and became arabs? do you know the definition of colonialism? do you deny that this religion was spread by the sword? even the terrorists today publicly acclaim that they want the society to go back to the days of mohammad.

so what were the days and ways of mohammad? what do you think is the taleban? it is they who are the torch bearers of mohammad. islam is just an imperialist projection of an evil soul who was sadly successful. it's successful, that does not mean it is not wrong. it has no spiritual, philosophical or theological foundations of its own.

praying 5 times a day cannot make a religion. a promise that i shall make it a pt to face mecca to pray and go there!! thats a religion? it sounds like a punishment given to 5 yr old brat for being naughty in class. there is no spiritual or philosophical precept in islam. its just a set of rules (harsh ones and imperialist).
