Afghanistan was a Buddhist country - until the Buddhists were exterminated by Muslims (before colonisation by the West).
The "Hindu Kush" area translates as "The Massacre of the Hindus" - can you guess why?
The Religion of Iran was Zoroastrianism - until they were exterminated, or forced to convert by Muslims.
What did the extermination of Armenian Christians by the Turks have to do with Colonisation?
What did the extermination of Christians in East Timor by the Islamic Government of Indonesia have to do with Colonisation?
What does the current extermination of Buddhists in Burma, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand have to do with Colonisation?
what does the current extermination of Christians in the Phillipines have to do with Colonisation?
What does the current extermination of Christians and Animists in Chad, Niger, Nigeria, Sudan have to do with Colonisation?

Do you see a pattern forming, or should I go on?
