in my own opinion, americans knew that Israel is their vital partner in securing the middle east security during that time against the ussr. perhaps the U.S that time searching a country to unite on their points of view about the political situation and support each time or during the time that they want to conquer a nation..

in some other instance, the U.S always uses aid terms, but actually the first thing is to get their vested own interest..in a country or..in short they want to plant their own interest and not the interest of israel. it's not how big is the foreign aid, but the most important to the U.S is the influence that can be used someday..thank you
