No taxpayer funding for anti-American studies.

Reader comment on item: Congress: Stop Subsidizing Biased Middle East Studies

Submitted by J. Arnon (United States), Oct 11, 2014 at 13:23

Why is the US government subsidizing "Middle Eastern Studies?" If like some type of scientific research is important to the country it should make sure that the results will help the country in its objectives.

I don't see programs more helpful to our enemies to be in the interest of our country and we should not be subsidizing it. Let the "Middle Eastern Studies programs" get funding from Qatar.
