Reader comment on item: Anti-Islam & Anti-Islamism Trumps Islam in the West: Polls

Submitted by Iftikhar Ahmad (United Kingdom), Dec 12, 2013 at 16:20

This life is test for all of us.We are trying to bring to bring people on the truth path. Just see our Islamic sister how respectfully she is covered, whereas the west makes ladies more exposed and even nude on road. See the crime rate in USA and the see the crime rate in Saudi Arabia, which has lowest crime rate because of Sharia law.The rules are made to correct our people from wrong doing just see Islam has succeeded whereas West does not. That's why now fastest growing religion in the world is Islam.Nobody is bribing them but they themselves are correcting themselves for their next life. Brother go and read Quran, see Islamic teaching and not Muslims, because there is black sheep in every community so don't see the followers .You see the teachings in Quran and it will guide you to the true path.

The power of Islam comes from how easy it goes through hearts. It's all about time that Islam need to be in every single house as the prophet Muhammad peace upon him said!! Christianity used to have the largest population globally, but now Muslims hold that honour - Allah be Praised! However, while Islam is still the fastest growing religion on the globe, the largest number of converts into Christianity come from Islam... There is no room for complacency - we must continue to improve ourselves, forbid/prevent evil and enjoin/assist/promote good! And you can see on Tumbler.com that the number of foreigners converting to Islam is growing , i follow these people on this website and their stories of how they converted to our religion are stunning (Among them is girl who used to be a Christian missionary ) , and I've also noticed that the number of hijabi girls is also growing. The truth shall prevail and people are waking up and seeing the beauty of Islam.

Let's talk frankly. Almost never do non-Muslims study Islam until they have first exhausted the religions of their exposure. Only after they have grown dissatisfied with the religions familiar to them, meaning Judaism, Christianity and all the fashionable "-isms" – Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism (and, as my young daughter once added, "tourism") – do they consider Islam. Perhaps other religions do not answer the big questions of life, such as "Who made us?" and "Why are we here?" Perhaps other religions do not reconcile the injustices of life with a fair and just Creator. Perhaps we find hypocrisy in the clergy, untenable tenets of faith in the canon, or corruption in the scripture. Whatever the reason, we perceive shortcomings in the religions of our exposure, and look elsewhere. And the ultimate "elsewhere" is Islam.

As many as 300 expatriate residents of Dubai embraced the peaceful message of Islam during the month of Ramadan, Dar Al Ber Society has revealed. The organisation, which caters to the needs of those who seek information about Islam as well as supporting those who need material support, announced that people from varied backgrounds and places, including Africa, Asia, Europe and America seek to embrace Islam. Rashed Al Jubaibi, director of information at Dar Al Ber, referred that the number of new Muslims this year reached more than 1,500, including men and women. Referring to the large number of people coming to the fold of Islam he said that the moderate message of the religion attracts people from different communities. "Islamic preachers at the centre, welcome visitors daily, answering their questions and clarifying their doubts about Islam, tolerance as well as its integrative and universal principles. They also provide information that portrays the correct image of the humanist and merciful Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)," said Al Jubaibi. As a follow-up, Dar Al Ber also offers books, Quran translations, translated biography of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), lessons and lectures in an easy and simple language to strengthen the faith of new Muslims in Almighty Allah and on His oneness. It also offers Arabic language courses, holy Quran memorisation, sessions on how to perform prayers and other pillars of Islam.
