Anti-Islamism is not winning against Islamism

Reader comment on item: Anti-Islam & Anti-Islamism Trumps Islam in the West: Polls

Submitted by Mahendra Mathur (Trinidad And Tobago), Nov 25, 2013 at 16:17

It is a fallacy to think that because more people have anti-islamism sentiments, Islamism is losing. Take the case of India - there 75% people (almost all Hindus and Christians) have anti-islamism sentiments but Islam keeps flourishing. Unless these sentiments are converted into action, anti-islamism will not prevail. It can only prevail if non-muslims treat Muslims in European countries the same way as Muslims treat Christians and Hindus in Muslim majority countries.
