Reader comment on item: Denying Islam's Role in Terror: Explaining the Denial

Submitted by john w. mcginley (United States), Apr 4, 2013 at 16:28

I still get queasy in my stomach with regard to categorizing the Fort Hood massacre as "work-place violence." So typical of this Administration's attitude towards Terrorism. I genuinely sympathize with the families of those injured and killed. I am glad that as a group they took the time and effort to set the record straight.////////// This Obama Administration is beginning to sound like "1984." In other words a flight from reality and truth for the sake of false idols. I felt that things were really bad during the Carter years. But what Obama has brought to Government is truly dangerous.

I must be masochistic. For in these comments I always own up to the fact that I voted for both Carter (once) and Obama (only once, thank God). Big mistakes, but the Obama one is the one I regret the most. I voted for a Centrist and got "1984." Seriously. Is there a cure for the Obama-ization of America? Are we already fated to live under tyranny? If that nut-case in North Korea actually does some serious damage will the President respond with anything else than words?
