Replace the word Iraq with the word Israel in that final line:
"In Israel, American impatience could have mortal consequences."

The Palestinians are gearing up to vote, and world media would have us think the choices are among 'moderate #1' and 'moderate #2'. They're all part and parcel of the problem.
